on a rectangular stepped base plate an upright stepped contoured tray containing cylindrical candleholders with flat drip pan; pewter, forged by hand, marbled; signs of age and use; the underside with wood insert; the rim marked on the underside with workshop mark (r Meersburg), model number 553 and number 5 as well as handgeschmiedet deutsches edelzinn; height 19.2 cm, length 51.5 cm, width 15.6 cm.
