Gretl and Leo Wollner were an important designer couple in the field of textile design and had their own studio in Vienna. Leo was a student of Eduard Jos Wisgrill. They were both profoundly influenced by the Wiener Werkstätte. Stylistically, they are also regarded as successors of the Bauhaus.
