mid-18th century, so-called ‘cassettone ribalta’, elegant softwood frame with serpentine shaping on three sides, with walnut veneer and marquetry panels, matte finish, the front with three drawers and a slanted fall-front writing surface, enclosing a fitted interior with four drawers, one door and hinged lids on the sides, 106 x 149 x 60 cm, well-kept overall condition with minor losses to the veneer, the fittings have been supplemented.
