... The rocks in the Kamp River emerged as a new motif in addition to the sand quarry. The bubbling, dynamic water contrasts with the still stone. Interestingly, in Grabmayr’s paintings, however, the water is often still, while the rock is the dynamic element.

... Neben der Sandgrube erscheint ein neues Motiv: die Felsen im Kamp. Das sprühende, bewegte Element Wasser im Kontrast zum ruhenden Element Stein. Interessant, dass in Grabmayrs Malerei dann oft das Wasser das ruhende und der Stein das bewegte Element wird.
