The present drawing shows a multi-storey ballroom in a palace, decorated with columns and with an open fire place, which is flanked by figure-shaped candelabras; between the columns are benches. Finding out a precise topographical location of the ballroom and in consequence of the palace was not possible but the design may probably derive from an Austrian artist around 1845 and is possibly related to the ballroom of Coburg palace in Vienna.
