The Austrian Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna conserves an ink drawing by Carl Witzmann showing the design of a shop interior in which this lamp model can be seen. The drawing was displayed at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair in the context of a presentation of design studies undertaken by Josef Hoffmann’s decorative arts students. Witzmann presented also the design of a kitchen interior, as well as the drawing of a fire screen.
