Vienna, early 1950s, solid walnut frames on four legs, the seats and backrests upholstered and covered with red fabric, each height approx. 85 cm, width approx. 55 cm, depth approx. 52 cm, height of seat approx. 44 cm. (MHA)
Designed in the 1950s by Oswald Haerdtl together with the former owner, a student of Haerdtl’s, for the Villa Pelka at No. 36 Blaastraße in Vienna’s 19th district. The villa as such had also been built on the basis of plans designed by Oswald Haerdtl.
