The name Navitimer has been synonymous with pilot’s watches since its presentation in 1952. It come from ‘navigation’ and ‘timer’ (chronograph). Thanks to the rotating bezel, the watch can be used to calculate mathematical functions. Pilots can use it to calculate speed, fuel consumption and climb and descent rates.
