For director Falk Richter it was particularly important to emphasize the timelessness of the Eugene Onegin plot. The costumes are therefore not located in any historical era, but show people from everyday life, all of whom can be involved in a tragic relationship struggle. In silent mourning they cling to each other again and again to find support in the whirlpool of life. The leading team shows the loneliness of the characters, their forlornness and the search for a supposed happiness in love, not only with the snow, which symbolizes the coldness of the relationship, but also with the colder colors: in Tatjana's room, a bright ice-blue shimmers; also the costumes of the women supernumeraries - consisting of shirt, skirt and a short jacket - are repeatedly accentuated with shades of blue. These costumes, which are in very good condition, are made of jersey, artificial silk and faux fur.
*As the costume was made to measure for the supernumerary, it may differ from the standard size.
