Fujikawa, sanchu no sato kyumei Miyakoyama (Fujukawa: Mountain Village, formerly called Mount Miyako), sheet 38 from the series: "Gojusan tsugi meisho zue" (Famous Views of the 53 Stations of the Tokaido, also called Vertical Tokaido), nishiki-e, signed Hiroshige hitsu, publisher Tsutaya Kichizo (Koeido), dated 1855 (Ansei 2, month 7), censor seal aratame, compare details and sheet with acc. no. 11.16914, MFA, Boston: the present sheet has a deep grey-blue sky as in the Boston version, emphasising the winter cold, moreover there is a blank segment at the lower left in the lowest border line as in the Boston sheet. Stained, backed album holes at the left margin, slightly faded red, lower left and upper left corner backed outside the image area, minimally wavy, backed at the upper corners, backed wormhole trace at the upper far left outside the image area, trimmed, 35 x 23.7 cm, mounted, (CT)
