Vienna c. 1905, manufactured by Franz X. Schenzel & Sohn, Vienna, construction made of white and grey lacquered spruce, hammered white metal plate, white metal fittings, repainted some time ago. Dimensions: height c. 59 cm, width c. 56 cm (two on lateral handles: width c. 5.5 cm), depth c. 40 cm. (MHA)
The Grand Hotel Wiesler in Graz is still the leading hotel on the square today, captivating its viewers with its neat architecture. The mosaic designed by Leopold Forstner for the banqueting hall is one of the most important mosaics from this period in Austria.
