Araneo is Friedrich Schilcher’s most recent work. He is always in search of new forms of expression, designs, materials and techniques for his works. Araneo is the first design object of a new generation. Both traditional technology and the coincidence of pure force contribute to shape the object - the deformation of the material is created by great pressure of up to 35 bar (corresponding to up to 50,000 kg, depending on the element in question). As a result, every object is different and unique.
