in Louis XVI style, manufactured by P. SORMANI (1817–1877), second third of the 19th century, mahogany and rosewood veneered hardwood frame with canted angles on conical tetragonal feet, one top drawer in the form of 3 sham drawers and elaborate bronze doré fittings, 2 large drawers and bent sides with floral marquetry in so-called ‘sans traverse’ execution, moulded marble top, c. 93 x 138 x 57 cm, in restored condition.
