bronze, cold patinated in shades of gold, silver and reddish brown; carved ivory; stepped onyx base in black and green; inscribed Prof. Poertzel and foundry stamp PK in a circle (Preiss & Kassler, Berlin) on the back of the base; base very slightly chipped; overall height: 46.2 cm.
