The maison Marzo, originally located in the heart of Paris at the prestigious address 22, Rue la Pais, is one of the largely unknown, forgotten houses of the haute joaillerie from 1900 onwards. It also served a well-heeled international clientele with its branches in Biarritz and Madrid. It produced modern Art Deco jewellery in keeping with the zeitgeist of its affluent customers. Even if the value of the stones used was not always paramount, what counted was the idea at the base of a particular piece of jewellery and its realisation.
