Two Yomut chuvals
(mixed lot), West Turkestan, end of the 19th century, each c. 79 x 110 cm, the present mixed lot offers two matching 9-gul chuvals (always manufactured in pairs), featuring a discernible so-called “tscharch palak” ornament as secondary motif, composed of five starred rectangles with beautiful light blue and green colouring, both bag faces are preserved in good condition.
