West Anatolia (Turkey), c. 186 x 126 cm, about 1920, animal carpet with palmettes and cloud bands after Safavid models, characteristic of these carpets are the high silk pile with bright colours and the red kilim ends, here the weaves are preserved only as fragments, nevertheless in good overall condition with only slight traces of usage, soft, cloth-like feel.
