Pair of Historicist armchairs,
Circa 1880. Made in oak, carved with grotesque faces fully in the round, also in relief with ornament and a combined coat of arms, inscribed "1853 den 20. October 1878", with upholstered seats, backrests and armrests, with original embossed leather covers with oak leaf motifs. Some ageing, with a fine patina, and some small losses. (PZ)
