Central Anatolia, c. 410 x 152 cm, 19th century. The present kilim woven in two panels can be attributed to the Hotamis Turkmen in the area south of Karapinar. It features six massive hexagons standing free in the field on a cream-coloured ground. With slight corrosion to the brown, unusually well preserved. (VP)
