Iran, c. 54 x 109 cm, first half of the 19th century. A long side panel of a large mafrash decorated with three archaic polygons and two rows of mythical creatures. This early work can be attributed to the Lurs. With several traces of usage and slightly trimmed ends, completely preserved. (VP)
