The name Durowe stands for “Deutsche Uhrenrohwerke”, a company founded by Ludwig Hummel in Pfortsheim in 1933. The company Lacher & Co also known as Laco Uhrenmanufaktur GmbH, produced watches for the German Air Force during World War II. The present watch shows signs of use in keeping with its age and has been partly reworked. The original strap has been removed.
