The writing desk was first presented at the Turin Arts and Crafts Exhibition. It was exhibited in St. Louis two years later, and in London in 1906 as a lady’s desk with white lacquer. beechwood and beech plywood, bent, stained to simulate mahogany; table top partly with replaced red-brown dyed leather insert; three drawers; the latter with fittings and handles made of brass and sheet brass; on the back in the top centre an oval curved mirror, the side with triangular fittings made of sheet brass with small decorative nails; two lateral struts with three brass knobs each; brass feet; signs of age and use; professionally restored; height 105 cm, length 111.5 cm, depth 56.5 cm.
