A large silver jardinière with bevelled glass liner, model number 59066, Koch & Bergfeld, c. 1905
silver, with gilt interior; oval shape with two flaring handles, the latter partly with foliate décor; the upper section of the bowl with beaded decoration, underneath with openwork lattice pattern; four flaring feet with flower motif; the lower side with embossed model number, company signet, 800, crescent and crown and duty hallmark; glass liner made of clear glass, the upper section with bevelled decoration, the underside with bevelled star cut base; glass very slightly chipped at top; signs of age and use; total height: 19.3 cm, length: 45.6 cm, width: 21.6 cm; silver weight: 621.9 g.
