Palais Fürstenberg has belonged to the Main Association of the Austrian Book Trade since 1927. In the years 1928-1931, the later Austrian Federal Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuß worked here as president of the Landarbeiter-Versicherungsanstalt. The engraved dedication reads: "Austrian Book Trade House / in Memory of Dr. Engelbert Dollfuss 28 November 1928 - 6 December 1931."
