A rare table lamp type 5839 (Stolni Lampa type 5839), designed by Franta Anyz,
Prague 1928, manufactured by Franta Anyz & Spol., Prague, in around 1930, classic, pared-down construction made of nickel plated brass and sheet iron, lamp shade made of etched overlaid glass, inscribed with company signet on the covering plate of the lampshade: “Zadkonem Chranend”, dimensions: height c. 42 cm, lampshade diameter c. 34 cm, diameter of the lamp base c. 17.5 cm. Without guarantee for electrical fitting. (MHA)
This model was used by Adolf Loos in the Müller Villa, Prague, 1930.
