in 2020, various materials, including wood, modified construction of originally two stools, destroyed in a performance process and re-assembled with foam into a rocking chair. “Double Chair” could be turned upside down and maintains its function. Part of the Riot Design series, representing a link between design, conceptual art, performance and sculpture. In this series, the artist deals with destruction and reconstruction of a piece of furniture, recontextualising the function and aesthetics of the original object. Pablo Chiereghin was born in Italy in 1977. He lives and works in Vienna.
