brass, calibrated with the Augsburg pine cone on a column capital, engraved 1 M C , 16 L, 65536 (16 lots, 65536 Richtpfennigteile), in original box covered with embossed leather and lined with red dyed deerskin with brass hooks. This museum-quality weight was produced in several versions after the 46 sessions of the Augsburg Numismatic Conference in 1760/61, with the Delegate of His Roman Majesty and participants from the Franconian, Bavarian and Swabian circles. Thus, the Cologne mark from Augsburg of 1694 had been established as the new “reference” weight.
