Sasha Stone

Sasha Stone emigrated first to Poland, then to the USA. He later studied sculpture in Paris and Berlin, where he came in contact with the Dadaists. In the late 1920s, he and his wife Cami Stone ran a very successful photography studio. From 1932 onwards, Sasha Stone worked as an industrial and advertising photographer in Brussels. After the German invasion of southern France he tried to flee to Spain, but died of illness in Perpignan in 1940.
