Vulcanus, in Roman mythology god of fire, regarded as a skilled blacksmith, porcelain, white, he is sitting on a tree stump, the right leg stretched backwards, supported by his helmet, the left leg supported on the base and stretched sideways, he looks concentrated at the anvil, the raised right hand with hammer reaches out to forge a lightning bolt, in his left hand he holds the tongs, on his curly head he wears a cap decorated with feathers, over his muscular body a cloth falls over his back to the seat and over the base, the front covered with cloth falling over his nakedness and fluttering along the right leg, height 39.5 cm, front of the base with impressed lozenge shield, on the underside model no. 268, 1/2, model by Dominikus Auliczek c. 1770 (Ru)
