Dial: enamel, Arabic numerals, date, weekday, month, moon phase, small second

Le Phare (French for ‘lighthouse’) was founded in 1888 by Charles Anil Barbezat-Baillot, a watchmaker and inventor with a remarkable number of patents. Two of his patents are also found in this watch. The well-known patent 344 for the use of centrifugal force in repeater striking mechanisms, and the Swiss patent number 13244.
