A well-preserved masonic watch with matching chatelaine. The skulls represent transience and the equality of people after death. The motto on the medal reads, “Wer war Bettler und wer war Weiser, wer der König, wer war Kaiser” (Who was a beggar and who was wise, who was a king, who was an emperor).
