consisting of: a pair of large centrepieces with covers on presentoir, height 40 cm, 14 dinner plates diameter 24 cm, 3 circular platters diameter 30.5 cm, 33.5 cm, 34 cm, 3 oval platters length 39 cm, 43.5 cm, 54 cm, 1 sauce tureen with cover, 1 vegetable tureen with cover, porcelain, colourfully painted forget-me-not bouquets and scattered flowers, ‘en grisaille’ painted border with apple-green band, gilt edges and border, several turner nos, painter nos 59, 78, 103, underglaze blue Austrian shield, 1 presentoir chipped, the other presentoir restored, the plates and 1 oval platter heavily scuffed, (Hr)
All pieces from 1793 are from the more than 400-piece dinner service of Luigi de’ Medici, Prince of Ottaviano (Ottajano), Duke of Sarno.
