so-called “cassone”, using partly original Renaissance marquetry and moulded elements from the 16th century, later re-worked, solid walnut frame, elaborately marquetried and inlaid with ornamental motifs and coats of arms with several local precious woods, lateral iron handles, one inner compartment and one inside drawer missing, 61.5 x 190 x 67 cm, well-kept overall condition with beautiful patina.
