probably Würzburg 18th century, hardwood frame on cabriole legs, with elaborately carved decoration with ornamental motifs, acanthus leaves and rocailles, gilded, feet and armrests terminating in volutes, the backrest and seat covered with red fabric (both detachable), height of backrest c. 130 cm, height of seat (wood edge c. 43 cm, seat cushion c. 47/48 cm), former wormholes, cleaned, conserved condition.
