by the French cabinet-maker Conrad MAUTER, (master as of 1777), Louis XV period, c. 1780/85, oak structure with mahogany veneer and polished finish, canted fluted lesenes, the facing side with three drawers, ornamented with fine-quality gilt bronze mounts and contour strips, moulded marble top, (Brech d Alep), the right back support stamped C MAUTER, 89 x 131 x 56 cm, in beautiful professionally restored condition.
