925 silver, repoussé and chased; lip and extended handles with decoration consisting of curved bands; platter with wooden support attached with screws; black lacquered wood, scuffed, partly slightly bent; the platter marked on the rim and handle: Austrian duty hallmark for silverware until 1902, mis-struck hallmark, the underside of the handle marked: 38, Orivit, Sterling Silver, German state hallmark, 925; signs of age and use, mirror slightly scratched, slightly dented; length 48.1 cm, height 3.2 cm; total weight (incl. wooden support): 949.8 g.
