John Young is aiming the antenna of the Rover at Earth so that Mission Control can receive the signal of the Rover TV camera. This very rare unreleased photograph is a frame from a panoramic sequence, located about 800 m away south of the rim of North Ray Crater near Shadow Rock. This 5-m-wide and 3-m-high rock was a very interesting geological site to collect permanently shadowed lunar soil from under the deep overhang on the western end of the rock .
