Harrison Schmitt took this photograph, one of the last photographs just before liftoff, toward Old Family Mountain (center left) and the left flank of the North Massif (right) which form the skyline in the background.
Rover tracks in the far left distance lead to the research site (out of shot to the left, 190 m away).
The last footprints and rover tracks made by the humans on the Moon are visible in the foreground.
