A French Salon Chest of Drawers,
second half of the 18th century, several hardwoods and softwoods, rosewood veneer, with polished finish in traditional artisanal technique, panel marquetry, curved front with four drawers, gilt bronze fittings, stamped BOICHOD, (Pierre Boichod, master as of 1769) original moulded marble top, 83 x 79 x 52.5 cm, in beautiful professionally restored condition. Pierre Boichod also worked for great masters such as Jean-François Oeben and Pierre II Migeon. (MIN)
