Paul SORMANI (1817-1877) Paul Sormani founded his company in 1847, subsequently also taking over his brother's business in 1858. Above all, the extremely precise construction of his products, always made in oak, was rightly regarded as unsurpassed. In 1855, 1862 and 1867 Sormani participated in the World's Fairs in Paris and London, winning numerous awards and medals. The company was commercially very successful.
