An Art Deco mocha service 'Ceylon' for six persons, Villeroy & Boch, Dresden, c. 1935-45
porcelain; with white and polychrome glazes and painted pattern of developing bands; consisting of: mocha pot with cover, height 12.3 cm, cover on the rim very slightly chipped, pot with slight chipping to the inside of the opening rim; six cups with saucers, height of cups 3.4 cm, diameter of saucers 10 cm, one cup with slight chipping to the outer rim; decoration slightly scuffed; marked on the underside: brown stamped company signet Villeroy & Boch Dresden, Made in Germany, partly additionally stamped Ceylon, A 240, with embossed numerals.
