„Meine Kunst ist wie ein Tagebuch, seismografisch. Das ist die Methode meiner Arbeit. Ich bin dabei ganz auf mich bezogen.
Zeichnung und Malerei sind eine Bewegung, die durch mich durchgeht. Durch meine Wahrnehmung und meine Gestik wird es etwas anderes. Das Bild ist ein intelligentes Flecken-gefüge, nichts Festgefahrenes. Es geht um das Fluide, Durchsichtige, Offene. Dabei interessiert mich gerade nicht das Edle, sondern das Schleißige, Nichtgeschönte, Unzensierte."

„My art is like a diary, seismographic. That is my method. I completely relate to myself through it. Drawing and painting move through me, a conduit. Through my perception and gestures it becomes something else. The painting is an intelligent stain structure, it is not fixed. It is about fluidity, transparency, openness. I’m not interested in the elegance of it, but rather its unkemptness, the parts that haven’t been prettied up, the uncensored bits.”
