Neo-Classical rustic cabinet,
Originally South Germany circa 1780. A divisible spruce cabinet, painted blue-green and red, partly marbled and painted with flowers, inscribed and dated"C. H. S VG. 1811", with canted angles, 2 doors with carved uprights, original lock with key and a metal vignette inside with the inscription "CB Lindebner von hier 1848". 191 x 157 x 61 cm. Some ageing and evidence of restoration, the feet replaced, the paint partly rubbed and reworked. (PZ)
