A set of six chairs mod. 121 with a rare dining table mod. 778, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa
in around 1960, for Cassina, four legs, black lacquered wood frame constructions, red, mottled, renewed fabric cover. Marked with manufacturer’s adhesive label. Dimensions of each chair: height c. 81 cm, width c. 47 cm, depth c. 55 cm, height of seat c. 46 cm; dimensions of table: height c. 73.5 cm, width c. 130 cm (250 cm extended), depth c. 130 cm. Signs of age and use, scratches and abrasions, coverings and upholstery have been replaced. (MHA)
A rare ensemble. The table can be extended by means of a hinged mechanism.
