A unique chair “Harvey Chair”, designed and manufactured by Martin Mostböck *,
Austria 1999, four-legged structure made of brushed stainless steel tube, the seat and backrest made of moulded and coated plywood, signed with felt-tip pen: ‘Mostböck/ 04/1999’ and stamped, dimensions: height c. 95 cm, width c. 38 cm, depth c. 51 cm, height of seat c. 48 cm. Slight signs of age and use. (MHA)

The name of the chair refers to the play “My Friend Harvey” by Mary Chase, was was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1945. The play became famous with Henry Koster’s 1950 film adaptation starring James Stuart.
