modified Biedermeier style of the late 19th century, walnut veneered hardwood and softwood frame in rectangular upright form with arched lower end on a moulded base, cornice with carved ornamental acanthus leaf decoration, ebonised round and half columns with gilt capitals, 2 gadrooned doors with mirror in the middle, hinged writing surface, interior with 3 drawers, 2 external drawers, c. 181 x 96 x 53 cm, signs of age and use, with supplemented parts.
