porcelain, polychromed and gilt, round base with nodus, the body with curved sides and tapering rim, the foot with a surrounding frieze of Bacchantes on gold ground, the underside of the body with all-round decoration of mascarons, the sides with a surrounding main frieze of Bacchantes on gold ground, two handles, height 30 cm, model by Ernst August Leuteritz 1865, painting probably after Ernst Julius Bendemann (1811-1889), underglaze blue crossed swords mark, model number G 116, (GO)
