The object artist Udo Breitenbach was born in Partenstein im Spessart in 1959; 1986: graduated as a communication designer from FH in Würzburg; since 1993: freelance work as a designer; awards: Art Directors Club Germany, German Designer Club, 100 best posters, architecture prize; 1993: first exhibition with objet trouvés at Galerie Westendorf, Winterpausen; 1994/1996: ‚EX-Positionen‘, Spurensicherungsarbeit zur Wendezeit, Bauhaus Dessau / Galerie Pankow, Berlin; 1995 ‘CHANGE / CHANCE’, exhibition of WWF International on the occasion of the climate summit in Berlin, Humbold University; since 1998: member of the artist group SpessART, participation in numerous national and international exhibitions; 2009: ‘FARBE+RAUM BauhausMaster Alfred Arndt’ in the Bauhaus Ensemble Probstzella; from 2009: lender for Bauhaus exhibitions in Venice, Zurich, Berlin, Bonn, Munich, Jena, Erfurt, Bürgel, Freudenberg, Aschaffenburg; 2009: artistic action ‘HermesRettung’; 2010: co-initiator of the Ernst Ludwig ‘KirchnerHAUS-Museum Aschaffenburg’; 2015/16: ‘bauhaus ,#allesistdesign’, exhibits from the BauhausSammlung Breitenbach in the Vitra Design-Museum and in the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn; 2016: on the occasion of the centenary of DADA, exhibition ‘1.
