Xaver Sedelmeier uses fenders and protective materials in a new context, refining them through repurposing. This turns furniture into fetish-like ritual objects shrouded in an aura of untouchability, which prevents us from using them according to their original purpose. Their function no longer plays a role - their presence is a sovereign right.
