Upper Austrian private collection, purchased from Kunsthandel Senger Bamberg in 2006, an expertise by Walter Senger is available.

Theodor Müller, Die Bildwerke in Holz, Ton und Stein, München 1959, S. 40f., our sculpture is comparable to this Madonna of Ears from south-east Bavaria from around 1490.
